WOMEN'S AMATEUR PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP - 2012
For women only. Come and play with many of the top amateur women from around the world. You'll enjoy the excitement as you challenge your skills in what may be one of the world's largest open amateur women's events. In past years, several current WPBA players have played in this event - before moving on to become professional! Reunite with old friends, make some new ones, and have a good time.
All players in our events are rated using the Global Pro Rating System. After enough rated matches, the Global Rating System will provide an unbiased score to indicate a players' level of performance. Click the logo to the right to learn more about it, and to see how you rate!
AMATEUR EVENT ELIGIBILITY
In order to keep our amateur events truly competitive and truly amateur, we have developed a qualifying system to determine who is eligible to play. There are many high caliber players, and there are many who are immediately recognized as professionals. Our event is intended for great players from all over the world to come, have fun, and compete. But, it is for amateurs.
However, there is no clear defining line to determine who is a professional and who is not. We do our best to ensure that this event remains strictly amateurs. Yes, there are a lot of great players in it. No, we cannot prevent every well-known amateur player from entering.

This event played on Diamond Smart Barbox (3.5'x 7') tables with Simonis 860 Cloth, the best quality equipment in the industry.

9-Ball
Races to 5, best 2 out of 3 sets
Single Elimination
PRIZE FUND:
Final payouts determined by total number of entrants. This event pays roughly 10% of the final field; for example, if 115 players show up - we will pay the top 16.
FIELD SIZE:
256 players
As the event draws near, field size subject to change due to time and space restraints. We do our best to accommodate as many players as possible.
ENTRY FEE:
$75
Your entry fee includes a 4-day Weekend Pass to the Super Billiards Expo, so even if you get eliminated in the first round you can still visit the Expo all weekend!
